Important Guidelines
Papers submitted must be innovative and original contributions. Case studies are welcome. Initially, an abstract of 300-400 words approximately may be submitted, indicating brief content of the paper, work carried out, highlights of the main findings and the conclusions drawn.
Subjects in Focus should be one or more of the following:
AR1. Foundry Education and Skill Development
AR2. Development in Materials, Processes and Equipment
AR3. State of the Art Technology: Ferrous Castings, Non-ferrous Castings, Permanent Mould Castings, Special Processes and 3D Printing
AU1. Automation: Foundry 5.0, IT in Processes and Management, IOT, Cloud and IIOT, CAD/CAM, Robotics
AN1. Environmental Social Governance, Resource Conservation, Alternate uses, Waste Management, Effluent and SPM Control
AN2. Make in India Experiences and Stories, Import Substitution, Technology Transfer and Cost Effectiveness
AN3. Quality Management: Inspection and Testing, Application of EN and ISO standards, Repair and Rework, Lean manufacturing, Six Sigma
Before submission of paper, author/s may ensure that the paper had been neither presented nor published elsewhere. Further, authors are requested to submit papers in English Language. Kindly prepare the full paper as per the FORMAT specified in the “Instructions to Authors”.
